What is National Quilters Circle?
National Quilters Circle has been creating instructional videos designed to engage quilters with their passion since 2010. We want to be your favorite place where you can feed that passion by learning new techniques, getting inspired, and connecting with other quilters who feel the same way as you.
Colleen Tauke is a quilter, designer, and quilt educator with 40+ years of sewing experience, of those, the last 17 years have been centered around quilting.
Early in my quilting endeavors I was challenged to piece a quilt that seemed daunting – fussy cutting, y-seams, strip piecing, hourglass blocks, a pieced border, and appliqué – and that was all in ONE quilt – my first bed sized quilt, that would become a quilt shop sample and win a third place ribbon at the Iowa Sate Fair in the “my first quilt” division. I was hooked!
Meet Colleen
Brenda K. B. Anderson crochets, knits, and sews into the wee hours after her kids have gone to bed. She loves designing stuffies that make her laugh, and accessories that beg to be worn over and over again by her friends and family. Brenda is the author of Beastly Crochet and Crochet Ever After and also teaches a Craftsy Class: Crochet Mittens and Fingerless gloves. She has contributed to several books and numerous magazines including Interweave Crochet, Crochetscene and Knitscene.
